GWDG at the GöBit on 23.02.2019

    This year, the GWDG is taking part in the Göttinger Berufsinformationstag (GöBiT), which takes place on 23 February 2019 from 10:00 - 15:00 h in the Lokhalle, Bahnhofsallee 1. We will be presenting our two apprenticeships for IT specialists - specialising in application development and IT specialists - specialising in systems integration, which can also be completed as a dual study combined with a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering/information technology. We would be pleased about many visitors.

    SAP Intelligent Enterprise Truck in Göttingen

    In the period from February 18th to 22nd SAP will present its Intelligent Enterprise Truck on the Central Campus of the University of Göttingen, Platz der Göttinger Sieben. During that time a team of SAP experts together with members of the GWDG, the University Medical Center Göttingen and the University of Göttingen develop a prototype for a specific use case. As the truck offers a 360° presentation area the event will be accompanied by diverse and exciting presentations.

    GWDG view on the worldwide data leak "Collection #1"

    After the hacker attack on politicians and other prominent people in early January has dominated the headlines, the media now report on a huge password collection for about 773 million online accounts available in the Internet. To give orientation help to its users, the GWDG has presented its view on the discovered worldwide data leak “Collection #1” in form of a FAQ collection, which is intended to answer the most important questions on the topic.
