GWDG at “AI in Studies and Teaching (KI:SL)“ on 21.04.2026

On Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., the first university-wide action day “AI in Teaching and Learning (KI::SL)” will take place at the University of Göttingen in the Central Lecture Hall Building (ZHG), Platz der Göttinger Sieben 5 – a full day dedicated to showcasing the use of AI tools in study and teaching through concrete examples and useful background information.

The GWDG is also participating with a diverse program focused on artificial intelligence and looks forward to welcoming many visitors. At information booths on Generative Artificial Intelligence Agent (GAIA) and the GWDG’s AI services, visitors can learn about current offerings and developments and engage directly with experts.

In addition, the GWDG is offering workshops, including an introduction to Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to support instructors and learners, as well as a workshop on GAIA. Several presentations will also cover topics such as AI in the workplace, the AI Act, data protection-compliant LLM and RAG applications, and the GWDG’s AI services and GAIA. This will provide participants with both practical insights and an overview of current developments and potential applications of AI in the academic environment.
